::We had a lovely holiday at Herdsman House. Mary and Desmond and their children made us feel really welcome. The house is extremely well equipped; the games room even had toys suitable for our three and five year old grandchildren. Desmond supplied turf so that we could have a hearty fire – this was very nostalgic for me – a reminder of holidays on the Isle of Skye in my childhood. We loved walks along the beach and visits to local restaurants. The children remember their ride on Desmond’s tractor. All in all a holiday to remember, thank you
