  It's fine for what it is. It's a good location, only a 10 minute walk from Temple Bar and the rooms were clean and the bathrooms were better than most hostels I've been to. The security is good and they definitely take it seriously. The staff are quick to help with directions and recommendations. I've definitely been to friendlier and more social hostels than this one though.

  Great hostel, a little run down but it seemed like they were working on renovations while I was there. Employees are amazing, polite and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and warm. Major downside was that sometimes there would be no hot water.

  Location is good. Beds are comfortable, but I missed the extra sheet provided by other hostels and the quilts we're not my favorite (duvet covers we're loose and seemed old). The showers and bathrooms were clean and convenient. Like other hostels, they were always being cleaned when we needed them in the morning, but we never had to wait for a shower in the evening. I'm not sure if this is due to the time of year (Feb) or just the fact that there are a lot of bathrooms. Breakfast is basic - toast, coffee, and juice. This was the same at another hostel in Dublin, but we were hoping for more. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us great advice for where to go and where to eat, and made our stay pleasant. The "free" tour was great but like all the other "free" tours, it wasn't free as the guides are paid by tips at the end. Bring some cash if you go on any tour advertised as "free".

  Very good, clean, big hostel. I love the big common area on the ground floor as well as the basement where you can peacefully work, play ping pong and snooker. There is a sauna but I didn't use it. Watch out because there is not always a hot water. And lastly the most important - people (stuff) is amazing. They are always happy to help you and advise on pubs, tours, places to visit... and much much more. Pubcrawl? City tour? Tour to the cliffs? Lunch? Dinner? They always have a recommendation. So make sure to ask them about anything if you are not sure!!! 😀Thank you Isaacs Hostel Dublin team, it was an amazing experience! You made my trip to Dublin even more unforgettable 😊

  Great place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They provide lockers too at a nominal charge. Complimentary breakfast and snacks are also provided. Preferably located right next to the coach station. They also organize pub crawls and have a good catalog of leaflet for visiting in and around Dublin. Very friendly staff and have some good discounts on various tourism related activities.
