::Fine for complete beginners. Not great at matching horse and rider for more advanced riders. My daughter was given a lively pony so she was forced to go on lead reign for the whole ride. My horse was very hard work and it took quite a bit of force to contain her on the beach, partly because of the slow pace of canter (she could trot at the canter pace) and partly because of her temperament.

::First stop when arrived in Ireland when heading from Grange to Mullaghmore. Beach ride was sensational with hearty gallop on lovely well-natured horse. Finished up living close by, buying a horse from Island View and frequently attend lessons there on my Irish draught to keep him in check. Lessons excellent and notice a difference immediately. Lots of riding options to choose from at excellent prices too!
