  Love this place especially in the summer. But since the extra extensions were put in its a great place anytime of the year. The food is always great, and such an extensive menu. But the atmosphere here is always mighty.

  Old style pub was nice and staff friendly and helpful. Newer buildings appears to cater mostly for bus tours and while clean and tidy there isn't anything that stands out. Food was decent.

  Lovely lunch. I really good playground for children. Renovation being carried out but plenty of seating in covered outside space which was lovely and warm on the cold day we went. Friendly staff too.

  Jack Meade's looks like a small country pub from the road and while it is a quaint country pub full of character, on its grounds is a large modern function area with its own bar and kitchen . We enjoyed new year eve 's with a bar - b - q of delicious food and efficient service. There was a disco & 21st birthday party in the bar area and it was entertaining watching the young folk but as the night progressed there was many in a sad state. So as we left it was noted that really they could have done with security to keep control and it was obvious that there would be trouble.

  Try their steaks A restaurant that you WON'T come away feeling hungry from and wont be disappointed. I always get the huge steak (at great value). Friendly staff and excellent service. For the kids there's a playground and an animal viewing area with nature trail and next to the river there's an old ice house.
