  James repaired a roof for us on a rental property in Gorey in October. James arrived promptly at the agreed time to inspect the roof. He gave us comprehensive details of our options and a detailed estimate. James started the work on the agreed date and stayed with the job until it was finished, even working into the public holiday weekend. He kept us fully informed as the work progressed by phone and by sending photographs. The work involved some work on our neighbours roof and James worked without disrupting our neighbour or the tenant. From this experience I would recommend James for roof repairs. Michael Carolan

  When the sweep pointed out that the chimney in our new home was a potential fire risk due to poor workmanship in the initial build, we called in James Kells to put it right. James completed his review and presented a plan and cost. He was extremely thorough and professional and clearly is an expert in his field. We endorsed James' plan and he carried out the work for us in a timely fashion. We now have a great little wood burner, properly fitted chimney, the right venting and CO2 alarms. Quality materials and workmanship gives us piece of mind for years to come and James' great customer care coupled with competitive pricing made for a positive customer experience during the work phase.   I've known James for roughly a year as he has worked on my mums house in Rosslare and most recently completed a chimney rebuild project. The quality of work completed was to a very high standard and the finish is good. I would highly recommend James as he is thorough, conscientious (cleans up after each work day) and reliable.

  We recently commissioned James Kells Carpentry to carry out extensive chimney and roof repairs on our house in Co Wexford. From the get go James was professional and thorough.   James installed a multi-fuel stove, after discussing several options, in our cottage. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Always, professional & courteous, and was aware of the need to work quickly to install the stove within timescale and budget. He provided a full report and detailed quote in advance of work commencing, including options to consider for both the stoves and the installation. He exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend him and will contact him again for other work on the same property.
