  Lovely old-fashioned pub. Great service and friendly staff. There is a terracce and a cozy, warmth, homely ambience inside. Highly recommended :)

  Interesting, and traditional "old man pub" outside of the city centre. Well worth a visit if you have time to get here from the city centre. It will take you 25 minutes on foot up hill or a taxi should get you there in 5 minutes. There is nothing fancy about this place and it has remained the same for many years. They don't serve food, but have a good range of the standard pints and shorts. Staff are a little indifferent to newcomers but treat regulars with a little more respect. An interesting pre dinner drink place if you are staying at either the Montenotte Hotel or the Ambassador hotel, both of which are only about a 5 minute walk away.

  Enjoyed a few pints here while staying in cork.I like the way the bar has two sections one side if you want to enjoy a quiet pint and the other side if you want to watch sport or listen to music.👍

  Lovely atmospheric bar. Previously listed in the Sunday Telegraph's Top 100 Bar's in the World. Lovely staff with occasionally live music.
