::Lovely place. Quite pricey. Restaurant needs more variety. The village and Johnstown Inn well worth a visit. Very pretty place.

::Great selection. Especially cacti and succulents. I have a BIG collection yet still manage to find new specimens every time I call in. Love the place ! The online option is good too.

::It's a beautiful center with a wide range of plants, friendly staff etc. Unfortunately they have a bad infestation of red spider mites - I didn't know it at the time and just assumed the plants had some cobweb on it - not a big deal. Brought it home, it started spreading to my other plants, killed my kaffir lime tree. I also bought a cactus as a present for a friend - seeing there was cobweb but not knowing at the time what it was. His cactus also died. I have now spent a ton of time researching and a lot of money on sprays trying to control this as it has spread to my whole collection - and it seems like these are pesticide resistant. My advise is - watch out for pests signs when you are buying yours plants there and make sure you quarantine them. It's appalling that nothing is done about it - I have seen infected plants there on numerous occasions - it wasn't a 'bad batch' case.

::I bought an aechmea plant on line. It was easy and ordering was without fuss. The plant is a beautiful specimen, carefully packed and it arrived within a couple of days. Very happy with the service. Will definitely order from Johnstown Garden Centre again.
