::Waitress was lovely but food was lacking. 5 of us had lunch today. Lamb shank was quite good but garlic mash an unexpected bright green colour and bland. Beef roast was very stringy but gravy was OK. Two of us had the cajun chicken fillet burger. The chicken fillets were quite grey looking and dry and the rashers were very fatty. The burger in general was OK. One of us was very unlucky with choosing the lasagne. It came out burnt having being reheated under the grill to melt the cheese top. The cheese was burnt also and over all the lasagne was very bland with a lasting burnt after taste. The toilets are also very very dirty and hand sanitiser was a necessity upon leaving the facilities. We will not be returning. Massive let down but seems to be popular with locals?!?

::Nice pub. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Didn't try the food. Okay Guinness.

::Irish pub with friendly staff in a beautiful local. The food, while very good, is not quite on par with its halcyon days. A must try all the same...

::Lovely nautical pub with good food for non-vegans. But for us, 7 (out of 10 people) vegans, it was no good. But a very nice place for a drink.
