  A lovely walk from the entrance on the Military Road up to the mast. Very much recommended:) A very gentle ascent up the mountain along a purpose built road leading to the summit ⛰

  Nice, enjoyable 7km walk up and back, even in winter (however it can get slippery in places). Slope is gentle enough for children and small dogs. You can see bits of Dublin and sea from the peak.

  Stunning views from the top and a paved road so there's easy access for the recreational walker (no need to trudge over peat and heather).
