::The identification “Kyelters Inn” is NOT correct, this is the Black Abbey. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to get the name changed on Google Maps. Maybe someone else might have better luck sorting out the name!
John Dowling
::Beautiful ancient Abbey. Lovely stained glass windows.
Vinny Ryan
::Beauty full little church steeped in history
Jared Sunshine
::A rather unique church in that it is an el shape rather than cruciform, owing to one wing of the transept having been demolished by Cromwell, like many religious structures in Ireland. The stained glass is even dinner than that of the city's namesake cathedral and well worth a look, as is an ancient alabaster statue of the Holy Trinity.
Chris Kiley
::There are many many old cathedrals in the area and this may be one of the older ones but it wasn't anything particularly remarkable. The stained glass was nice but St Canice Cathedral is right down the street and has one of the oldest tallest towers in the country and the only one that lets you climb to the very top.
