::This gym is probably the best value for money in cork. They only offer 1 membership deal which is €99 for 3 months, and sometimes during holidays they offer 1 month for €50. The gym is a very basic gym. There is no squat rack, only 2 benches and 2 barbells. There's only about 60kg of weights available for the barbells and if you can lift anywhere near that, you're gonna be waiting for weights to become available because they'll probably be in use already. The machines are fairly basic but there is a good selection. Ive never had to wait for a treadmill, spinning, rowing or stair machine as long as I've been there, which is about 6 months. The pool is a nice size, and has a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Personally I wouldn't use the steam room or jacuzzi but they are what i would expect from a hotel pool. I love using the sauna there and try to use it at least once a week. Ive never had a problem with the staff and neither has anybody I know of in the gym. They give you a training routine when you first join the gym, but I follow my own routine so i have no idea how good/bad the plan is. I would give this gym a 3/5 but the pool and bargain price give it a 4/5.
