  As close to home cooked as you can get without having to peel the spuds yourself. Liam, the owner and head chef comes around every table to make sure all customers are grand. Nothing like the personal touch.

  Very friendly and inviting lovely room, warm host. Went with two friends late afternoon, so it was fairly quiet. All of the positives were slightly let down by the food, soup isn't that difficult to get right surely?. You know when you're told its vegetable and you think oh, not again, but sometimes its really good, well, this wasn't, horrible in colour and flavour and my friends salads were pretty ordinary, like something you'd do at home. When I pay to eat out I expect it to be better than what I can do at home because these are professionals. Liam's Cafe is extending and having an outdoor seating area, but maybe he should spend more time in the kitchen as this place dies have the potential to be a lot better.
