::Lough Dan is a wonderful reason to get out into nature and enjoy the views. There are walks that skirt the lough and you can take in some mountain climbing while there. If fast flowing rivers, stunning views, Forrest, valleys, high mountains, bridges, old ruins or viking boats is your thing then this is for you. I just came up to take some photos, enjoy the views and record my adventure. Kanturk Mountain is a nice climb and the views are worth while. Stroll along the lough on the many trail roads and you might never want to return to the city again. You have no excuse, get out here and see it for yourself. Enjoy

::Beautiful lake with the scenic mountain views. The access is very limited, if you plan to go there don’t be disappointed if you don’t get to see the lake, its hidden well.
