  After my second visit I decided to leave a review due to a similar experience in both occasions. The quality of the food is good and the staff are friendly but on both occasions the quantity of chips given per bag is small to say the least. The chips are tasty and perfectly cooked, but come on Macau xtra. Don't be skimpy on your portion of chips! Don't think I'll make a third visit

  Made an order food arrived and was very cold, missing an entire meal from my order so phoned up and was told it would be up, when it arrived I was asked to pay for the delivery, an extra €1.50 even though it was their mistake?? Never ordering from here again, always food missing and food cold/ not very edible

  I ordered from here two weeks ago. Food came literally ice cold like it had been sitting out, so rang up and another batch was sent up. 24 hours later myself and my partner had symptoms of food poisoning. Was the only thing we ate that could have made us sick. Sent messages to their Facebook page and still no reply. I recommend anyone who doesn’t wish to get sick to stay well away from here. Oh, and the bottle of Diet Coke was nearly 2 months out of date. Literally the worst take away I’ve ever experienced.

  Never once felt the need to review anywhere online until tonight. I've eaten here plenty of times before but tonight the service was disgusting with the exception of one member of staff. Having asked for a bag of chips and a plain burger bun only wanting the bread with my chips? This turned into someone making a burger which soon as I noticed, I politely pointed out the confusion. Worth noting that im coming home from work at this point and perfectly sober so what happened next suprised me. One of the staff behind the counter started swearing and mouthing off about me to another member of staff for asking for something I didnt want. I'd already paid at this stage for what I thought would be chips and a burger bun. The woman serving me seemed confused by the entire situation but was trying her best. Then who I assume to be the manager showed up and asked what was going on. She explained to him quietly that I had been over charged. The managers reply to this assuming I was one of the Friday night crowd so couldnt understand, was to tell her just leave it he wont remember tomorrow anyway. A long while later Im given my overpriced meal and being the polite idiot I am decide to forget about getting my money back, since the guy behind the counter with all the people skills of Gordon Ramsay would probably shove my head in the fryer if I had the cheek to ask for my money back anyway. So if you want to walk into a chipper, get swore at by rude members of staff, be over charged and lied to by management who seem to think it's acceptable to exploit members of the public when they think they are drunk, then go ahead give Macari Xtra in Drogheda a try?

  Food quality is low.Curry sauce and gravy both watery.Chips cold and portions skimpy. Chicken goujons slimy inside and burger flat as a pancake. Milkshake was the only decent thing. To top it off paid online and still got asked for money at the door. Left waiting for delivery man to call to confirm we'd paid. All the while our food sitting in the hallway. Rang to complain and clear the situation up and nobody knew what they were talking about. Finally got talking to a guy who said he was in charge and he was so "nice" he actually hung up on us without even remedying the situation. Friday night takeaway turned into unnecessary upset. Will absolutely not be returning customers. Would have given zero stars if there was an option to do so.
