  Great sized modern and clean rooms. Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of options. Lounge bar was busy the evening we checked in and food and service was a bit hit and miss but I think they were doing their best under the circumstances! Also only appears to be one small lift that struggles with the numbers of guests when busy.

  Went for lunch on Sunday with my family to the carvery and have to say it was less than good. My auntie had cabbage and ham while the meat was beautiful the cabbage was not even cooked. I had the misfortune of ordering fish and I really think it had been reheated a few timed rock hard and fish was brown the chips were stone cold...it really was very poor. When I went to get cutlery the knives were quite dirty with dried in food it took me a while to find 4 clean knives. We have been here a few times but perhaps Sunday was a bad day but we left dissatisfied and saying we probably won't be back for a while.

  We stayed here for 3 nights. I accidentally booked this room not realizing it was about 20 minutes from city centre. In the mornings it will take you easily 45 minutes to an hour to get to town. Hotel in general: The hotel as a whole was clean. It was right next to a grocer (Aldis), and a convenience/petrol station. Bar was nice. A bit slow service but friendly and with a smile. Front desk was kind and very accommodating. We had breakfast once. Not bad for the price. The room: We had a full bed and a twin. Plenty of space. Lucky enough to get a tub. It was very deep! Loved the bath. It was newly upgraded so decor was modern. The. Ed wasn't hard but not super soft. TV remote was kind of broken but we dealt with it. The walls were pretty thick. We never heard anyone. Solid 4. Would stay here again.

  Have to say very nicely decorated since I last stayed. Beds new and comfy. Rooms spotless and hotel reception staff polite. Breakfast excellent. Breakfast manager not so polite . Staff excellent. Defo stay again.

  We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great and reception staff were very accommodating. Room was great. I would have loved to open my blinds at night to allow fresh air in but had spot lights shining in window. Must have been for sign on building. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.
