::Maplins used to be the goto place for anything electrical/electronic. Many a time that unusual cable or some piece of kit needed to finish a project. However over the last ten years it has become evcer more pricey. To the point most places including high street retailers beat them. Also advent of Internet shopping has shown their prices for what they are. Only positive is at least you can go in and ask someone questions. They really need to look at their price points or they will be gone
