  Reply Both myself and my sister were present at the time of the exam. You asked me to lift my dogs lip up you glanced at her one tooth and dismissed her swollen cheek down to plaque you didn’t check for infection. You then told me you would give her an antibiotic injection for diarrhea which was just one symptom. Yes you said to come back in two days for blood tests if she hadn’t improved, but having been extremely dissatisfied in your flippant attitude I returned in 2 days to my own vet. He properly examined her mouth and instantly saw her swollen cheek was down to infection he sedated her and removed the infected tooth and significant infection in her mouth, he also put her on a course of antibiotics. She recovered well from the sedation with no problems but 2 days later the infection was too severe she had to be put to sleep. Infection in such a small breed of dog HAS to be caught early or can be fatal as it was. If you had listened to me when I told you about her swollen cheek and treated her straight away she would have had 2 days extra to fight the infection maybe she would have lived. Please listen to pet owners and acknowledge they know their pets best. If they tell you there’s a problem don’t just decide you know better as in this case you didn’t and my beautiful little dog paid the price with her life. Also you said her heart and lungs were fine “strong heartbeat, clear lungs”. Unfortunately I have since heard from other people that have had concerns dismissed by you, and while you have good reviews maybe it’s because they simply haven’t come forward yet. On Wednesday I rushed my 3lb chihuahua to this vets as my vet was unavailable I told him her cheek was swollen and she wouldn’t eat and she had had a little diarrhea he gave such a quick look at her mouth said she had a lot of plaque but didn’t really bother to look very well then said he would give her an injection antibiotic for diarrhea and I should feed her with a syringe natural yogurt 5ml at a time on Friday with her seeming to get weaker I took her to my vet he immediately looked at her mouth and saw infection in her gums gave her a sedative and extracted the tooth an antibiotic injection and a course of antibiotics on Sunday with no improvement I took her back to him the infection was too bad and her little body had had enough she had suffered a stroke and had to be put to sleep. I can’t help but wonder if on Wednesday this had been caught would she still be alive!

  Brought my dog Sandy for a check up on Saturday. Very professional and friendly service from Eugene the vet. Got her groomed also .Fabalous job.Will definitely be back. Thank you

  i have had to bring our dogs there many times great vet would recommend to anyone who's animal is not feeling well

  Very friendly! Had follow up call from Eugene. No problems seeing my pet after hours, if I was a dog this is where I'd want to go if I was ill
