::Well maintained park. Nice playground with good equipment. It's only a short 10 minute stroll to the Grafton Street area.

::Historically an interesting place. Before the act of union campaigners had a vision for the astetic of Dublin. Merion Square is an echo of a Dublin that tried to be. Provokes serious questions about the accumulation of wealth in the past but is also a contrast with our wealth hoarding class since then and up to the time of writing. Who cares what Dublin looks like today, not the people who get rich of it anyway.

::It's a stunning park. Has a decent number of events happening there and Dublin bike stations on the perimeter. Also has many historical Georgian houses running its lengths. Heart of Georgian Dublin apparently. There is art displayed on the fences of the weekends & I believe a market on a Thursday.

::An oasis of calm in the middle of the city. Well maintained, with flowerbeds seasonally planted, it is less crowded than St. Stephen's Green and the Giant's Playground adjacent to the Oscar Wilde sculpture is always a hit with the kids. Across the road from the Natural History Museum and the National Gallery - both of which are also worth some time.

::A beautiful old-fashioned city park first designed for the residents of the surrounding Georgian homes. This park contains a lovely mixture of mature trees, shrubbery and flower beds. It is extremely well maintained and looks fantastic all year round. It has a fabulous enclosed playground as well as many monuments and sculptures. Great for strolling, picnicking and general chilling it also hosts events and markets.
