::Fantastic experience. Great value on room deal. Beautiful room. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating and breakfast choice is the best I have ever experienced. Anything u could want for plus a pancake maker. Only downfall was the excessively loud music in the lobby coming from the bar last night. No quiet spot but staff did do what they could to reduce noise. Overall extremely positive experience. Highly recommended

::Visited this hotel over the Christmas break for lunch while driving through the area. Was very disappointed in the service. It took them 30 minutes to take our food order even after we approached some of the waitresses several times, we even noticed people who had entered the bar long after we had arrived being served first even though we made them aware that we had been waiting for some time. When they eventually took our order we then had to wait a further 45 minutes to receive our meal. By this time some other groups who had arrived after we arrived had already received their meal and had gone. We of course expressed our disappointment, what type of business thinks it is acceptable to wait 75 minutes to be fully serviced. However it was not until we expressed our disappointment about the poor service thst it was even acknowledged. The manager did come over and stated that they were under staffed that day however this is not a valid excuse. If you know a customer is going to have to wait longer than usual for their meal I think out of respect for that customers time you should be make them aware. My husband and I paid our bill in full and left feeling out of pocket in more ways than one. We were not even offered a complimentary drink which I think would have been a nice gesture. This hotel obviously is happy to take your money and not face up to bad service. I have stayed in many similar hotels across the country but have never felt the need to write a bad review even if there had been the odd issue. Very disappointing and a real pity as the hotel itself is a lovely place.

::A very nice stay. However I do not know how it has a 4 star rating. You are greeted by this rag green large old mat on the floor in front of reception. It imediatley took away the marble finishing of the lobby. The rooms where large but dated, the bathroom was poor. The swimming pool was great. The only reason why i am giving this 4 stars in because of the food. The restaurant breakfast and dinner served outstanding food.

::For the last six years my family and my in-laws book a two night stay in a hotel just after Christmas, as we come together from Cork, Dublin, Belfast and Belgium. It's great because the cousins get to keep in touch and no hosting is required. This year we stayed in the Midlands Park and this was by far our best stay ever, which is saying alot. The staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and special. Nothing was ever a problem and the management were very interested in hearing our opinions. In fact they actively engaged with us, first asking how we were enjoying our stay, and then enquired about our thoughts on the service received and asked if any staff stood out (non really did as one was better than the next), all in a friendly conversation, not an inquisition. The food was top quality, perfectly cooked and presented, and delivered with a broad smile, not forced or put on in any way. The bedrooms were spacious, bright and the beds were perfectly comfortable, with memory foam mattresses. And finally to make things even better, the package we received was superb value and included kids club, where the were fed a buffet from the children's menu. If they didn't want kids club, they were welcome to eat with us at no extra cost.

::This has really been stepped up from what was formerly a business hotel. The bar is superb, food delicious, service stunning. Austin in the bar was on top of his form. He recommended a great bottle of white and brought it to out table. Told us of local event happening today which would have great atmosphere.. recemonded the beef from the carvery and again it was amazing. Beautiful work done here guy's , keep up the good work. See you soon....
