::Nice cakes and hot drinks. Reasonably priced.

::I ate at the Dalkey Duck like... 6 years ago on a weekend trip from Edinburgh. I've always thought back fondly to the bowl of cheesy soup and brown bread that I had there. SO MUCH SO that I actually spent the time and effort to track the place down. Literally all I had to go on was that the place was in Dalkey, that they served an amazing soup + bread combo, and a picture of me in front of the wrought iron fence with a Magner's cider banner. I had to do some serious research to find it but find it I did! Now my friend will be visiting shortly on my recommendation. Hope that they are serving the cheesy soup as their soupe du jour!

::This place is a rip off. Avoid. €3.30 for a very poor cup of coffee. Water used in making the coffee was much too hot .very watery and could hardly taste the coffee. I often visit Dalkey but I certainly won't be having coffee in this establishment again.
