AVOID AVOID AVOID_ NEVER PAY OUT FOR ANY CLAIMS- I was even contacted after by their team telling me they never pay out but often reply to these online messages pretending to care- she told me I was a sucker for buying their insurance in the first place and I should have read the online reviews first- EASY to SELL, NEVER to make CLAIMS

I've used these a few times. On the one occasion when I needed to claim, I got the usual bumf about not covering this and not covering that. My flight was cancelled 6 hours before take off, so I lost a lot of money. I don't see how much more cut and dried you can get than something like that happening to your holiday. I won't be using them again, it's not worth the paper it's written on. I'll choose a more expensive big name instead.

I bought my annual travel insurance from Multitrip. It was a quick and easy process, details all very clear and a competitive price. Absolutely does what it says on the tin!

easy to book, no hassle or difficult questions. very competitive market price. will definitely be considered when I'm travelling again, it's worth spending a few quid for the peace of mind - especially in today's climate.

Be very careful. Great at the front end when selling, but not so good when claiming. My father died unexpectedly and we had to cancel our holiday. We made a claim in good faith only to be pointed to a clause which states that, because at time of buying my father was apparently being investigated for interstitial lung disease, we cannot get any money back. He was 84. I didn't know he was being investigated for this. He had arthritis. He'd been in hospital in January 2016 with a chest infection caused by his arthritis medication and he was well in the June when we renewed our multi trip insurance. He died of pneumonia on April 23rd 2017. So please be careful - it seems you have to know exactly everything your close family and travelling companions might have a medical issue with. Bearing in mind we were only asked about our own health when purchasing the policy, we never suspected a future claim would be refused because of a third party's confidential medical history. I hope this advice helps you avoid our particularly disappointing and costly (Β£2,000) experience.
