::Lovely place to stay, beautiful tranquil setting in the countryside, close to the Equestrian Centre. The hosts were lovely, welcoming people. It's the ideal base for your break.

::Stayed here a number of times many years ago (mid-late eighties) with a group of retired miners from Manchester area on an annual fishing holiday ( Billy Williams, Billy Downey, Alan? & the crowd. As a young lad it was the best fishing I'd ever experienced, this is why the older guys returned to Ford House year in year out. Patricia was always great as a host offering very comfy accommodation. Excellent base for lots of activities. Would love to return one day and rekindle my youth...maybe one day. Patricia and the family are obviously doing things as well now as they did back in the day - probably better. Well recommended.
