We were here on winter, and even then it is worthwhile coming here. The Victorian style greenhouses are air impressive; both the building and the plants. And even in winter the gardens outside are nice for a stroll. Highly recommended. There is a nice cafe on-site, with lovely cakes and with a nice view on the gardens.

Great place for a relaxing walk. It's nice to just walk around and look at all the flowers and trees as well. The rose garden is very impressive when it's in full bloom. Great spot for learning at all levels. Very enjoyable place to just relax.

My favourite place to walk by a mile (pun intended). The gardens are beautifully landscaped, and there's something to see all year round. The character of the place changes with the seasons, but with its many species of tree, it's an especially wonderful place to visit in autumn, since the shelter it provides means that the leaves stay on the trees longer, so their colour really deepens. The many acers are a spectacular sight. During the summer, I've lost count of the number of species of bee and other pollinating insects I've seen, and that, for me, is one of the biggest signs of how valuable the place is. The car park fills up quickly, and during the weekend (especially Sunday), you may very well have to wait for a space. However, it is possible to park on the street not too far away from the entrance. The cafe is very nice, but usually very busy.

Great place to walk and see a lot of plant life. You will enjoy the open space. Variety of terrestrial spaces for various plants. The peaceful nature of the garden allows for spending a lot of time unwinding and getting outdoors. Would love to see it in the summer. Definitely will be back. No fee if you arrive by other means then a car. Paid parking for cars.

Even for the Winter season, the gardens were definitely something worth visiting. Especially the green houses and their rich collection on floral specimens. Even in the garden, we were able to observe several beautiful pines and bushes. Of course we'd come back during Spring, but it being free and worth your time, makes it a N° 1 Choice!
