We stayed here on Saturday night , on arrival we were met by jimmy at front door & invited to have refreshments tea & coffee & cake but due to us rushing we declined we were then shown to our room omg it was fantastic everything we needed was there even extras like bottled water and sweet treats on bedside lockers ,Jimmy offered to drop us into the hotel so we were quick to accept this offer as it made life easier on us so we could enjoy a drink without the worry of driving bk we were given a taxi number for our return later that night . Breakfast was delightful fresh fruit bowls awaited us on our table with beautiful menu to choose from we got freshly baked scones served with a variety of breads , everything from start to finish was excellent . We can’t wait to make a return visit & highly recommended newlands lodge to all once you stay you won’t want to go home thank you Jimmy & Mairead for all your kindness .

Accueil chaleureux, parfait dans les moindres détails. À une dizaine de minutes du centre de Kilkenny en voiture

Mairead and Jimmy are most considerate, welcoming, and generous hosts. I mentioned I wished to see a doctor and within an hour I was in his office due to the compassionate and dedicated treatment from them. Our family of five loved our stay with them and would certainly return. I have stayed at our 50 b&bs in Ireland and this is one of the best.

I am giving this B&B the highest rating of my 10 day trip in Ireland with stays at numerous other accomodations. The hosts were absolutely tops-very helpful and accommodating, recommending local sights, etc. The room was very comfortable, roomy and attractive. The common area was straight out of "House Beautiful," but friendly. Breakfast was first rate in a very nicely decorated eating area, including music.Mairead's scones were delicious as was the rest of the full Irish breakfast with coffee. The location was very rural, giving a peaceful rest from driving. Best thing-sincere people.

Excellent service, this B&B is better than a lot of 4 star hotels I've stayed in. They really take great care of you and have everything you could possibly need. They also offer some very good local knowledge for music, dining and tourist attractions. Would absolutely recommend and will return!
