  I run a small company a few doors away from O Brien premises & back in June requested Sammy to carry out roof repairs to our premises covering 3 leaks - one particularly serious enough. I was assured by Sammy it would be no problem as they were familiar with the leaks on these types of roof in the estate. He charged €1300 plus Vat & collected payment the next day. (Lads spent less than half hour on our roof) The next rainy day highlighted the leaks were still occurring. Since June he has made two visits to check / correct repairs , however I had to phone & call up to his offices at least 12/15 times. Today is the 13th November & I still have the same leaks. Despite asking for my money back - I was informed “it doesn’t work like that “. I had an Engineers write to Sammy confirming the leaks exist still & he politely requested a meeting to see how we could resolve the matter - this also has been ignored. I had to give the rating of 1 star in order to leave a review - he’s not even entitled to that 1 star. At least in the old days Dick Turpin had the manners to wear a mask when he robbed people. This cowboy is a member of “City & Guilds” / RCCA / Construction Industry Federation etc... I will report his shoddy unprofessional behaviour to these august bodies also - as standards are slipping badly. Anyone that would like to see his handiwork in my premises before hiring him - is welcome. By the way - Sammy - I’m not letting you off that easy. Signed, Kevin Not A Happy Customer

  Rarely nowadays do you meet a company that does what it says on the tin. One exception to that slogan is O'Brien Roofing. From the initial phone call to the completed job (removing and re-bedding hip and ridge tiles) was a seamless exercise. Sammy the ultimate professional was on hand all day supervising the work which was carried out to the highest standard. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a first class roofing specialist.

  O'Brien Roofing recently did a job for us replacing an old flat roof. Have to say we're really happy with the result. From quote to completion Sammy was very professional and easy to deal with, he knows his stuff. His crew did a great job, arrived early each day, worked hard, and got the roof done with the minimum of fuss. Very neat job too. Would have no problem recommending them.   I have used this company "O'Brien Roofing & Cladding" twice and I believe that their people do a very good job. They are reliable and the work is always done to a very high standard. In fact, some of my neighbours have used this company too after seeing the work done on my house. I would recommend them highly.

  I have used O'Brien Roofing and Cladding twice in the past twelve months and cannot speak highly enough of their service, efficiency and workmanship. On each occasion I had leaks as a result of storm damage to chimney flashing and tiles. Sammy and his team responded to my calls with a couple of hours - had photos and estimates within 24 hours - and the jobs completed to total satisfaction the following day.
