  Went for lunch today with my partner. Hadn't been here in about a year after not been thrilled by the experience on the first occasion. Today started with the waitress who was particularly rude whilst taking our order. This was also noted by the next person in line who even remarked on how abrupt she was. We then sat down and the first 2 empty tables we sat at were v dirty. Then we realised why as we observed staff clearing tables after customers left but not actually wiping the tables down. The place wasnt busy but staff did have time to have good long chats amongst themselves whilst behind the counter. On top of this the floor and under most of the tables had large quantities of food /dirt under them. We won't be back and I can't imagine the lady at the next table will be either after she told us she had an equally poor experience whilst ordering her food.

  I love having my breakfast here whenever I go to athlone. The bread rolls and butter is delicious

  been in here a few times since moving to Athlone .could not give it a good review , person on cash is rude impatient ,shruged his shoulder s when we pointed out there was no seating after we had paid for our food , which was only passable , bought a black forest gatoue her on Sunday as My wife had not time to bake , she was embassesed when she had to serve it to our guest s although it looked like a black forest it was more a chocklate sponge dressed wit grapes and very overpriced wont be back or recmonding it shame really but Good manners and fair treatment of customers is not priority here

  Nice place. The tea is ok. Just don't sit down the back. The noise of the wash up staff is bad.
