Cozy, traditional Irish pub. Intimate environment, not the ones you find at Temple Bar. Did not get a chance to eat since the kitchen closed at 8:30pm

This pub has an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. It is by far my favorite pub in Dublin. It's usually calm and not too crowded.

A great city pub. Great service and lovely and relaxing! Great food at lunchtime, too!

I don't know how useful or valid my rating might be. Perhaps a description of my experience more helpful: We visited from Cape Town, South Africa and used room 1 for one night. * We didn't expect it to be so loud. Noise from the busy road outside, the creaking floorboards and banging doors made relaxation difficult. Also loads of construction across the road and down the street which didn't help. I don't know if that affected the room prices. * Great location for visiting the rest of Dublin City Central. * The bed was comfortable enough. And the room and bathroom were very clean. * No bathroom basin plug. * Some maintenance required - the toilet seat wasn't 100% secured and the hot water tap was loose. * Plumbing makes a noise after flushing. * The bedroom curtains allowed light through underneath. * The bathroom could use more hooks (?) For us to hang our things on. * For the same price locally we would get more - but this is Dublin City, so perhaps it's a good deal. * We didn't have time to properly visit the pub downstairs. It looked great and felt very cosy. * The kitchen outside of our room was well equipped with fridge, tea and coffee etc. * It was very helpful that we could store our luggage there after the 11am checkout so that we could explore more of the city before having to head home.
