i would like to express my experience regarding my treatment with Optical Express as excellent, also your after care service. Your staff were all very kind and friendly and gave me lots of attention, as I have difficulty with my mobility i found the staff very helpful regarding access. I would suggest that maybe in the future, that you would consider putting in a lift in your building for patients who have mobility problems. My surgery was a great success and would recommend Optical Express to my friends. regards Bridget

The best decision I ever made. I got an appointment within a week of my initial consultation and was immediately able to ditch the contact lenses and glasses. My vision is better now than it ever was, even with lenses and I had zero problems. 18 months later I am still delighted with the results.

After taking the brave decision to complete lense surgery with Optical Express, my mother needed glasses AND a magnifying glass to do her weekly gorcery shopping!! She was fobbed off for 2 years until their "lifetime" guarantee expired after which she was left high and dry. Thankfully the Blackrock Clinic performed a Yag laser capsulotomy on her, as a medical procedure, to restore her eyesight and change her life for the better. Avoid Optical Express!

I have a scheme in work that allows me to get free VDU. Same scheme used with Optical Express and everything went well. Got my glasses and decided to spend the extra €40.00 for the anti glare treatment for its lenses. Went back this year for the same purpose and it was a true mess. Did my eye test and offered either or to replace my lenses or to get new glasses. I opted for the lenses replacement and presented the same voucher I presented the previous time I was there, only to be told that they weren't sure if they could accept it and they had to contact their head office (same head office I book my appointment through and and mentioned about the voucher). It took them 10 days and several phone calls(I had to chase it several times and threaten to go somewhere else for my glasses) to give me an answer on this and told me that the voucher was only valid for new glasses. OK then, new glasses it is. I was asked to pick a frame from a range of them related to this scheme and Invited to go back to the office to try the selected frame on (same frame as two years ago). Went in and there was nobody in reception but customers in the waiting room. A lady came out from one of the rooms and, after introducing myself, she gave me the frame to try on. I have asked for the anti glare treatment for my new lenses and this lady had to call someone else to get the price for it(apparently they do not have price list but the price). Anyway,I was told that the cost would have been of €60.00 so, 50% more than 2 years ago. I pointed out to this lady that it was crazy that the price of the anti glare treatment had gone up that much and that other opticians chains were charging €45.00. So, given that they took them almost 2 weeks just to arrive to the point of ordering my glasses, I have asked to negotiate the price of the anti glare and this lady told me that I had to contact their boss and speak to her. At this point I finally had enough and left without my glasses as I would rather prefer to pay in full for them than pay them the €60.00 they have asked me for the anti glare. Based on my experience I would not recommend to use this company. They are unprofessional and have no clue about customer service.
