::Good range of their own beers on tap as ever. Looking a little shabby these days. Knowledgeable staff. Good music playing.

::Visited the microbrewery. We stopped for a drink and some food. Amazing selection of alcohol and food was delicious. The chunky chips were gorgeous. It was during the rugby match and bar was jammed but staff could not be more pleasant. Even stopped to take photos for us. Would visit again if in Galway.

::Galway bay brewery bars are always great buy this is definitely one of my favourite bars ever! The beer selection is great and the bar staff make good recommendations. There is always somewhere to sit and it's never too loud or crowded. There is a pool table and great long benches for groups. The food is also great and they do party buckets.

::On first impressions this appears to be a bit of a beer hall. There is a barn like feeling at the back of the establishment and a pool table over which, in my experience, nothing good happens when two players are in excess of the legal alcohol limit. Nevertheless, there was space, and families filled the rear area. Food was quickly served, bar staff attentive and professional. The manager a lovely guy. There is an upstairs smoking area for those nicotine addicts who need a quick hit. The front of the bar is comfortable. There is a great range of local brewery beers. Tip: ask for the local gin distilled on the premises. About to be released early in the year. Unique, refreshing gin, presentation ten out of ten
