  Owning a dog for the first time is a bit like having a child for the first time! There is so much I don't know and so many questions that I need to ask. The staff at PetWorld in Galway are wonderfully helpful, patient and understanding. I also messed up with some of my initial purchases and they exchanged the goods without question. Great customer service all round and as a result I won't be going anywhere else.

  Brought in a GSD X in earlier today as I was looking to buy a suitable Halti collar. A girl called Lauren served us and couldn't have been more helpful. She suggested a suitable collar, fitted it, and gave us really helpful advice. Many thanks to Lauren for being so genuinely interested in helping us out. We'll be back to let you know how we got on.

  I visited this pet store in October half term while we were in holidays. The Supervisor (Richard) gave me excellent expert advice, for my dog Sooty. He had a problem with his paws, licking them and making them brown/red. He said that you can guarantee that it is due to cereal in his diet, we put him on a wheat gluten cereal free diet that improved him. Also I was able to take him in to get his coat fitted. Richard was so gentle friendly and loving towards my dog and was very kind to give him a grain free treat. It is with great sadness however that my beloved boy had a heart condition strong murmur coughing etc and unfortunately had to be put to sleep recently. However, it was a great honour to have visited your store and for him to have the opportunity to be graced with lovely human beings that is petworlddirect staff and for him to have our last proper lovely walk on the promenade of Salthill. Thank you all so kindly.

  Nice big spacious store. Downstairs they have all the feeds and equipment for your pet. Upstairs they have meerkats, reptiles, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. My son was disappointed because there was no fish, just a lot of empty tanks.

  Lovely young blone girl there so helpful.. felt sorry for her lifting out big heavy bags while one of the male employees chatted to what seemed to be a guy who looked after the fish tanks. Petworld ya need to take care of your staff health and well being. Not on having girls hauling out big bags of food etc.
