  Not what we expected. We had a bedroom on the third floor in the roof. Was very small and the bathroom was not up to standards.

  I stayed here with some friends in Novermber and it was SUCH a wonderful experience. They were very accommodating, the rooms were super clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was fabulous and better than any I've ever had from a hotel before, and the owner was so kind and inviting. The location was perfect, quiet for sleeping at night but within walking distance to everything we wanted to see! Prices were very reasonable as well. 10/10 would stay here again. Don't forget the house number though because there are other B&Bs nearby and it's easy to get confused but this is by far the best one.

  We had a great stay at Portland house. Nice and clean room, good breakfast, competitive price and located in a quiet neighborhood. Located about 3-3.5 km (40 minutes) walk from the city centre, or by taxi/tram in about 20-30 minutes. I recommend this B&B! Tip: Don't forget the house numbering, there are more B&B's located in this street - and yes, I recommend Portland House!

  Maread and John are the absolute best hosts! They showed us their city and each evening while sitting around the fire we sang and told stories. Felt like family
