::Avoid Avoid Avoid this place. A deceitful person is running this shop. In the last week I brought an oven into this place to find out what was wrong with it. The switch kept tripping. The deceitful person running this shop checked the oven and rewired a connection on the back of the oven. He turned it back on and stated that the grill element and fan element were burnt out and it would cost €150 to repair plus €20 for rewiring the connection. He said he did not think it was worth repairing and offered to dispose of it. I refused and told him I was taking it with me. He was surprised by this and he tried his best to convince me that I was wasting my time bringing the oven with me. I refused again to leave the oven. He charged €20 for the rewiring. I brought the oven home, put a new plug on it and turned it on. The GRILL ELEMENT worked perfectly but the fan element needed replacing. It was very easy to remove and replace the fan element, only 3 screws holding it. I brought the old element into town and bought a new one for only €25. If I had listened to that deceitful person in Preloved Appliances, I would have left him a good oven and I would have gone out and bought a new oven unnecessarily. Just to let you know, they have moved to a new location at the Townpark Centre on the Tuam Road.
