  I was in Dublin for my son's wedding and was recommended to use Reds by the hotel I was staying in. I went for a blow dry on the Thursday and thought they were fantastic. They kindly arranged for a stylist (who I will not name) to come to do my hair at the hotel at 8 am on the morning if the wedding. I was delighted as it meant that I could go to the family breakfast at 9 am and be ready for the photographs at 10 am. I was more than happy to pay 50%+ extra for this service. I messaged with the stylist as agreed on Friday afternoon and received a reply confirming the arrangements. Sadly she didn't arrive until 9.15 am by which time I was totally stressed, had missed breakfast and was rushed for the photos. It put a real downer on the start of the day. Her excuse was that she lives an hour out of town and she hadn't set her alarm clock for early enough - I had no answer for that (how hard can it be?.). The stylist would only accept the salon cost of €40 instead of the agreed €65 but this didn't really help - all I wanted was what we had agreed so that I could have a lovely day. The hotel concierge later told me that he had told her she shouldn't charge at all. As a consequence, I wouldn't use Reds again but nor will any of the Dublin based guests at the wedding. I have only given 2 stars because the service on the Thursday was very good otherwise I would have given 1!
