::Lovely little local spot. Interesting displays and friendly staff. The coffee shop is very well priced and has a spacious second room ideal for fitting the prams and buggies of my mum's group!

::Fantastic place. Guides were amazing and really friendly. Great out outlook of the barracks past. Reveals of a side of the Rising which I must say I was not very aware of. Well worth the visit.

::We went to see Richmond Barracks and Goldenbridge Cemetery last Saturday morning. We had a fascinating, personal, informed and engaging tour and it was really interesting to learn a bit about the social history of the area too - like how Keogh Square became 'social housing' in the 1920s because part of the barracks was taken over. It's a pity that most of the old barracks no longer exists but they have done a great job with the remainder and I plan to recommend this to any of my friends with an interest in Dublin history. One very minor caveat - it's not (currently) well signposted so arm yourself with a map before you go. But that apart, it was a really interesting experience.
