::The Dentist Dr. Raffaele Apicella and his "Assistant" who was not wearing scrubs and was chewing gum while ajusting the aspirator...It seemed like it was amateur hour between friends. The informality between them was endearing to see.... I called the Clinic to complain about a Budget for a Bridge that seemed like it was done by a 16 year old learning Word. But the worst was Dr. Appicella's tone when he spoke to me on the phone it was the cultural cliche in all it's glory with an agressive tone which is inadmissble when speaking to a Patient who was exercising his right to complain in a civilized way. This was 1 year ago so I hope Dr. Apicella has changed his approach to Patients complaints. But thank God there's nother Dentist. Because with this Dentist never again. That was the first event, yes the ladies at the Reception are very nice but apparently this Clinic is so busy that they literally see you in 10-15min max well some matters require a bit more time (as the same time the HSE advises people to go to GP's surgery instead of clogging up Hospital A&E) so people go and pay (I have a medical card but unfortunately I have to pay 60Eur to go to another GP who gives me a bit more time) With Health being a lucrative business in this country with houndreds of GPs an Surgerys about 5 or 6 of them in a 2 mile radius here in Sandyford lot's of them with doubtful experience in area like Mental Health foreinstance one has to hear that the Doctors simply don't have time. Well if instead of reducing the profits of the Clinic and giving quality time and service to their patients and rembering the Hippocratical Oath once in a while would be admirable. I've been waiting for 1 month for an appointment to see a Psychiatrist in a service I'm not even sure of it's name and were it is because I didn't get a referral letter so the appointment was supposed to be last week tried to relay the message to the Doctor yesterday & today to no avail. This is Private GP care in Ireland, it's a business and this Centric Group or Jellia Holdings Ltd, the holding company for Centric Health, made a pretax profit of €4.1 million in 2015 on turnover of €37.5 million (according to an article in the Irish Times of Feb 1, 2017) an then one wonders why the appointments are done on the clock, 15min max no matter if your depressed in need of intervention they don't have the time to ask the vital questions and were dealing with people's lives here.

::Looks like I was not the only one ripped off by this "practice". Went to GP in Dec 2017 and described symptoms. Asked for a blood test. Was told it was not necessary. Went to another GP in this clinic 2 weeks later having same symptoms and was told not to worry and wait for 2-3 months. In January I went to a doctor in a different place who took blood immediately. I now have diagnosis and directions on what to do next. I rang Centric Health clinic to share my bad experience. I was told the Manager was on a holiday and was invited to see a GP for free to discuss the matter until the Manager was back. Came in, saw my first GP. I asked why I was not sent for a blood test. Her response was "this is not the way we do it here". I was also asked to pay when leaving the clinic. Receptionist was not aware who booked me in and why this visit was meant to be free. She waived the fee after I explained why I came in. I left frustrated and rang the Manager a week after she came back from her holiday. The Manager said that she did not have a chance to go through this situation and she was very sorry this happened. She also said that her clinic is well-run. No doubts it runs as a great business, not a medical practice! To sum it up: 1. Two GPs have not established the cause of the problem, but I was charged €100 (€60 + €40 for repeat visit). 2. I was going to be charged another €40 after seeing a GP for the third time even though a free appointment was offered. 3. Receptionists have no track of who makes appointments. 4. Receptionists do not leave notes like "free" on bookings. 5. Practice Manager either does not care about problems in her clinic or else her staff do not tell her about them. Shocking careless treatment by all members of clinic's team!

::The Worst dental clinic (and dentist) in Ireland and probably in the whole Europe. Charges are rocket high but the service is extremely poor. Went with the sensitive tooth but I was asked to do the filing and later it went even worse. The equipment are very basic. Nothing to scan or xray inside the mouth. have similar experience with the general physician too. They charge you many things extra even if you have medical card such as blood test cost 15 euros with the medical cared where you are supposed to get one for free. Terrible clinic. Finally found a wonderful Dental clinic Beach wood Dental clinic in Ranelaegh which I had to wait for a while to get an appointment but absolutely a fabulous dentist. Stay away from this clinic. In my experience They are just bunch of hungry practitioner focusing to earn as much money as can rather than providing the good service.
