  My personal connection with this area supersedes nearly all possible negatives however those responsible for causing and those responsible for cleaning the litter problem in such an area of natural beauty need to search for some pride in their own backyard.

  Lovely spot for walking through the mountains with some breathtaking views. There are different walks that you can take, each one is timed differently with some special sights on different routes. Better views on a clear day obviously but still worth it on cloudy days. Wrap up well as it can be windy when you're 1100feet above sea level

  Great locations. A lot of nice walks. Most of them accessible to young children. The overall altitude is not very high but nevertheless there are beautiful valleys and landscapes.

  Ridge of Cappard.. with the snow everywhere what a magical walk and views. Two herds of deer spoted. Definitely worth the drive

  One of the most underrated and unexplored mountains in Ireland. Beautiful forests, hills and valleys. Breathtaking views of the midlands and of course the source of the river barrow, the second longest river in Ireland after the the river Shannon
