  A big thank you to Smiles Dental Dundrum for taking my call last night at 6:50pm and seeing my 3yr old son who had an accident and damaged his front tooth. The ladies at reception, the dentist and the dental nurse were so kind. Thanks for the piece of mind.

  Bad experience. Charged for a consultation that was neither wanted or necessary. Handed a “dental plan” for €255 that was neither necessary or wanted. Beware.

  This was the second visit to Smiles and our last. My wife needed a filling done and she asked for anesthesia. After the first injection the tooth still needed more anesthetic. When the dentist topped her up, I haven’t seen my wife in a similar state despite numerous visits to our trusty dentist(which we can’t access in Ireland unfortunately). Her entire right face went numb all the way to the temple, felt discomfort, weakness and dizziness. Her left eye was closing slower than her right and despite my clearly confused state the dentist was making silly excuses about it saying to us that she is dizzy due to laying flat for a while! When we left the clinic my wife could barely walk , she was actually limping and they just left us to our luck; shortly after my wife threw up while sitting next to the boots store in Dundrum... I seriously considered rushing her to the hospital at that point. Thankfully after that she started becoming better. Only reason I am giving this review two stars is due to the filling work being OK in terms of comfort and general structure according to my wife’s impressions so far. The dentist was also friendly and easy to talk to despite the utter unprofessional way she handled the anesthesia and its aftermath.

  Always come here. No fuss, generally low cost dental service, easy appointments, easy access to quick emergency appointments. My dentist is absolutely great and lovely! Good for nervous patients too.

  I chose this clinic because it was among the clinics with Direct Pay under DeCare Dental. After the exctraction, and only after the extraction that costed me 500 euros, I was told at the desk that the surgery that performed the extraction does not work with DeCare. That's not a serious way to approach the business. A place where never go back.
