::After waiting three and half weeks for an app for my child and taking her from school early , due to road works outside your premises we arrived 7minutes late for her app . where we have been told she could only get half an appointment and if we want to rebook it would be another three weeks the lady who was to see her was sitting at a computer not even busy at the time . I told the young man trying to assist us that she has very very bad headaches and blured vision but they don't want to know , three soon to be four of my family wear glasses we spend hundreds with you each year but will never go to your shop again . to wait three weeks u could have allowed five minutes for a child who badly needs to be seen your a disgrace we Won't be Back. ####### update after a call from the manager Alannah my daughter was asked back and had a full eye test which went very well , Alannah and her staff couldn't have helped us more and Mollie was put fully at ease , I'm glad we went back after our horrible experience one staff member shouldn't ruin it for all, we gave another chance and will be back again thanks speck savers,

::Everyone in the store is friendly, helpful, and happy. Anytime I have gone in they have always accommodated me very quickly. They don't give you any hassle with the eye exams even if you keep blinking. They'll tighten your glasses for you anytime you go in. One of my lenses had a flaw in it and they sent it back to have it replaced. Very good store.

::My wife needed to visit this opticians several times over a 6 month period as the prescription made proved inaccurate and the glasses provided were incorrect - giving her headachres. Eventually she had to go to another optician and pay for a further eye test to obtain a correct prescription. Then back to Specsavers Arklow that had already been paid (but not provided working glasses). Finally Specsavers provided a working pair of glasses - but now she had to pay an extra 115.00 (on top of what was paid 6 months ago) because new special lenses were needed. After all the hassle (and cost of going to another optician for another eye test) the least Specsavers Arklow could have done is make the gesture of waiving this EXTRA fee. The service has been a million miles away from that stated on the website.
