  The Cashel Dominicans moved to Clonmel during the persecution. Historians have attempted to link this church to the friary in Cashel as they are similar in design. Sadly it is closed all the time except for service so no possibility of visiting as a tourist. As for the friars, they lived on Suir Island where they ran a school so it is almost certain that they were never connected to this place.
