  I had to attend the emergency department in September, 2017. The attention I got from all staff was wonderful. From reception , nurses house doctors and consultant it was an efficiently run effort. I was admitted and spent four days in hospital. Again the nursing staff and doctors on the ward were more than wonderful. I returned home and again had to return to AE and was treated so quickly and efficiently Was told any problem just come back. On Friday last for a different problem again had to return. Again same Wonderful service. . I have to mention especially the Nurse Practitioner on duty in the A&E on Friday 16th. She went over and beyond being helpful. Talked to me and sorted out my problem. There are no words too strong to say what I feel about St. Michaels. It is a wonderful service and we are so lucky to have it in our area. How about it running the Health Authority.   A small, friendly hospital. Visited on New Years Eve with an elderly patient and despite the pressure the staff were clearly under, they were pleasant and made a difficult situation much easier.

  Great hospital. Friendly staff and very efficient. Visited casulty with my husband. Were there about 5 hours, had X-ray, blood test etc done and prescription for antibiotics. Were offered tea or coffee before leaving. I hope this small hospital is kept open Thank you to staff.

  It's a small hospital the emergency is for adults only Doctors are very good. On the ward's is tv in every room. In the basement they have a GP doctors available for everyone for children's as well. With a documents and example blood test results is huge mess.

  I had a very positive experience with my father in the A & E Department a few weeks ago. He is elderly and suffers from dementia. He was brought in for triage within 5 minutes of registration and had bloods and urine taken straight away. He was then brought to a quiet room to lie down. Within 20 minutes he was taken to Ultrasound and after that put on iv antibiotics. The place was spotlessly clean. The whole process took just over two hours. Every staff member we encountered was polite, efficient and friendly from the admin staff to the nurses, porters, catering, radiology and Dr. Tong who diagnosed the problem immediately and brought dad back for two checkups the following week, both of which he was seen immediately. I would highly recommend the department. Well done to all.
