::Just home from IV Therapy session for my soon-to-be 94-year-old Mother. She said herself she had never met such kindness and I could see the care being taken of her. The whole experience was painless, and I want to thank the staff there for their care and kindness.

::We have been waiting in the ER to get an x-ray scan for over 7.5 hours now and besides triage haven't spoken to a nurse, let alone doctor. Information policy is a disgrace and looking around we aren't the only ones: Woman with blood on her face and man with apparently broken arm have been here for 6+ hours too without any medical attention. Either they are helplessly understaffed or incredibly inefficient at their job...

::Wonderful efficient and friendly staff. After triage I was dealt with quickly and kept up to date with the results of x Ray and ct scan. I was admitted to the cdu at 230 am and released at 1630 on the same day with a full knowledge of the medicine prescribed to me and a course of breathing exercises for my broken ribs provided by the physiotherapist. As I don't have any private health insurance I had to pay the government levy of €100 but feel 100% satisfied

::No transparency around the waiting times. Nurse promises that she will remove the tick in a moment and after 1.5 hours waiting (because she went on a break) we learn that we will have to wait the doctor after all, which is going to be 2+ more hours. Reading the reviews here we understood that it will be better to just go home and go to our vhr clinic in the morning. So the night visit to emergency room turned into 1.5 hours waiting, 5€ parking fee and no help. Bad experience!

::My brother was a patient in st Vincents for the last four months. Following a collapse before Xmas die to medical problems. Spent almost 2 months I.C.U. Cannot say enough praise for all the staff. The care was superb.During the nurses strike a young nurse was taken off the picket line to sit outside his door. Our family are very grateful to all.My bother just left this week for respite to a nursing home.
