  Super bar with a well presented board of local fish and traditional meat dishes at quite reasonable prices ..clean and well staffed. Acoustics could be improved in main restaurant....

  Really exceptional service and a great energy in the restaurant and bar. Amazing views, sea air, great chowder. The front of house is very helpful and I can't recommend it more. Feels like a five star hotel

  The Strand is in a beautiful location and food was very good. However, as Francis Brennan suggested, they could pay attention to their bedrooms. Bed was comfy, but although there were teabags etc. there were no teaspoons or kettle! We had to request one. Also the sink tap was wonky and when we used it we had to pull it over to stop water running onto floor. Correcting this and ensuring that everything necessary for bedrooms is in place would make a good experience much better.
