::Very large comfy room nicely decorated. I can recommend the restaurant. I had a delicious steak and service was fine . The bar area is okay but not very cosy. It's a long way from the city up very steep hill so I would recommend a car otherwise you would need to use a taxi.

::Wunderschönes Hotel. Zimmer gemütlich und sauber. Auf Wunsch mit Balkon. Essen sehr lecker und die Bar ein Highlight. Zur Stadt ca. 10-15 min. Entfernt zu Fuß. Jederzeit wieder.

::Nice hotel out of city centre and perfect if you want a quiet location. Nice bar there and a very good restaurant, particularly good lunch menu. Restaurant staff are VERY nice and helpful. Location is very quiet if that's what you want, and the walk to city centre downhill is very easy, and will take about 15 minutes.

::This was my first visit to Ireland, and I absolutely loved staying at this hotel for the first leg of our journey. The only downside was that it's at the top of a hill, so you'll have to trek back up the hill after going down to explore or just have dinner in the town. The restaurant in the hotel had great food and drinks, and the bookshelves surrounding the dining area gave the whole room an intriguing and sophisticated feel. If/when I return to Cork, I'll likely be staying here again!
