  On entering the cafe the first thing you notice is the effort they made to make sure no two chairs matched. This was quaint and reminded me of so many homes when I was young. They have a 'soft' seating area by the window but for me it involves too much stretching to get to the food. Staff are very friendly and attentive and when I asked for a second pot of tea they offered me a choice of a fresh pot or adding water to the old one. I went for the top up. I ordered a salad of feta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes with honey and mustard dressing. This was a large dish and I hoped the waitress was going to join me. There was certainly enough for two. The dressing was home made - real honey and real mustard and I think had a touch of balsamic too. Might be wrong about this but it was delicious anyway. I got there and I was the only customer for a while but a conversation with a subsequent regular customer made it clear that this was not the usual expectation and they are frequently filled to capacity. If you're in Clane County Kildare, make sure you take you ease in this establishment.

  Very nice warm, little place. Have breakfast which was nice. Staff welcoming. Kind of an older group in for tea.

  The breakfast menu is really nice for both adults and kids ,they gave the 3 year old colouring and she was delighted . Very nice staff

  Brought my two children, 3 & 5, they loved the children's breakfast. Clean warm atmosphere, friendly helpful staff.
