  Staying in Wexford on a Tuesday in June, my wife and I fancied some Italian food. We did the usual Google and trip advisor search which both shared the same number one result. Only problem was, when we got there it no longer existed and the restaurant in its place is closed on Tuesdays, as are a lot of places in Wexford town apparently. So I searched again and found The Forge in Castlebridge, I didn't hold out much hope but with an over tired toddler in tow we had little choice. Man was I wrong. Yes it was quiet but the food was divine, I had my standard gambas starter and it was in a fantastic tomato sauce with just the right amount of kick and my main was the special of black spaghetti with seafood. So so tasty and packed with seafood. We will definitely be back.
