  Far too much cajun in the 'cajun fries' and the colour of the soup of the day (potato and leek) was very green and off putting. Luckily, the chowder saved the day.

  Great place and lovely food...not enough staff but the staff they have are great but ran of their feet....if you are looking for modern this is not the place for you as it is in the middle of a beautiful valley and all you need is a good pair of walking shoes ..it could do with a lick of paint in certain places but it is ideal for getting away from it all....i had a small wedding there and they really looked after us....

  I enjoyed the hot beverages and chocolate muffin served in the bar. Very freindly staff.

  Loved our stay here...friendly welcome..excellent food and service..looking forward to coming back
