We found this place by accident and were intrigued by the quirky name, which fits the atmosphere well. The staff were friendly and the service quick - perhaps almost too quick as it was busy and felt almost as though they were rushing to get us through. Traditional food was good but portions weren't that big - hearty food should come in hearty portions!

Delicious food! It came out pretty quickly too which was nice. I got the Irish stew and shared some curry chips. I would definitely order both again if I went back. Only complaint: The ordering system wasn't super clear (order downstairs and food is ordered separately in a different location from the bar) and the way they brought things out was a little chaotic. Super cool place though. Tons to look at on the walls and lots of corners and rooms to checkout and sit in. I wish they sold hairy lemon tshirts. I totally would have bought one.

First time in it today with a friend. Felt very welcome. Food was amazing and worth every penny. The soup was delicious. Not long of a wait to get the food either. the waiter was very polite and made conversation. We will definitely be returning to this place. Just don’t like the name of the pub 😂❤️

My wife and I entered on a busy Friday night during an Ireland WC qualifying match looking for food and drinks (our first day in town after a flight). We had no luck finding space, but one of the servers/managers saw our weary faces and inquired with us about eating. He found a space for us in 20 minutes while we sipped on Guinness. Food was quite good - nothing fancy, but we had some good Irish food in the Dublin Coddle and the vegetable pie. Great service at a busy time. Seriously great vibes with the footy match on, and a good mix of tourists and locals.
