  Don't cater for gluten intolerance which is a pity. Would have given 5 stars if they did. As is the bread is fresh each day, buns cakes etc look amazing and are all very popular.

  Lovely cakes, buns and bread freshly bake in store everyday birthday cakes etc. Made to order and lovely friendly staff

  For as long as I can remember, The Home Bakery has been synonymous with fresh baked breads, cakes and pastries in Dundalk. Now with more than one store available, there is more opportunity for those in areas like Blackrock, to get the same high standard baking. They stock a large range of fresh breads and pastries, which can tend to sell out very quickly. There is ample parking near the Jocelyn Street store, you might just have to drive past it a little, then walk back, but the journey is worth out. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are always great deals when buying multiple items. My only issue, is that the popular items do sell out quite quickly, and therefore unless you arrive quite early you can miss out, and sometimes the queues can be lenghty, as it's a small store, but it's well wort the wait.

  Great choice, lovely cakes, buns and bread. Took away one star as staff can sometimes chat to customers they know for too long, leaving you waiting to be served.

  Excellent bakery! Delicious birthday cakes and pastries. The pancakes they sell are lovely too. The Bailey's cake is my girlfriend's favourite and whenever we buy it is usually gone in 24 hours, it'll mostly me nibbling away at it every time I pass the fridge. The staff are very friendly too and it's very good value!
