::Great location within easy walking distance of the main pub scene in Galway. However the service in this hotel left a lot to be desired. Staff in general were not overly engaging (might have been there on an unlucky day). We ordered breakfast to the room the morning we were there and it came 30 mins late, it was cold, there was no sauces provided, no teaspoons for the tea, and no sugar. Didn't ring back to ask for it to be brought up as the food was already too cold to wait for more items to be brought up. Rooms were lovely and we did enjoy the location. Be mindful, parking is €8 per day in a multi-story a very short walk from the hotel.

::We had our engagement party here and the service was terrible from the beginning. Firstly I had to ring my self on the week of the party for the menu of the food even though it was finger food and it was nice food they should have not forgotten us. On the night of the party we were told that we could put up some banners that were just left aside. We also payed for our guests to have a free bar and the service was terrible had to wait at the bar for approximately 40 minutes for a drink and the bar staff completely ignored me. At the end of the night we asked them to put bag our food which we payed good money for which was never returned also an engagement cake made for the occasion was allegedly put in the bin. I then made further enquiries and spoke with the manager Maura and she was very understanding and offered us a free night stay in Hotel as a gesture of good will which we declined and our response was that we be refunded our money we paid for the food and cake and she agreed and said she was going to meet us when we collect the funds all we got was out money in a brown envelope. I'm sure the rooms are of high standard and they had the best cocktails in Galway but I would recommend going else where for your special occasion.

::Stayed here for a weekend. Nice hotel, nice staff. Rooms very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast wasn't great. Sausages and bacon very under cooked even when asked for it to be well done. It was the same for all our group (10) for the 3 mornings. Also our breakfasts were only luke warm. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
