  We booked a space in the Mill Bar for our daughters christening. Imagine our horror when we showed up, bar closed, doors locked and crude, hand-written notes on the inside of the windows saying "Closed due to flooding"! Was it too much to expect that any of the managers would have taken the time to contact their upcoming bookings. We were left distraught! We had been in the Mill Bar before, which is partly what helped us agree on it as a venue for the christening, but their events management leaves a lot to be desired to say the least.
